I keep talking to prospects that didn’t upgrade to Online Store 2.0 yet…
I already talked about the benefits of upgrading to 2.0 and one of the main aspects is the performance of your theme. Only by upgrading your theme, you’ll decrease page loading time and improve the experience for your visitors.

We recently updated a theme for a client and their performance score went from 42 to 98. it’s a 233% upgrade. We then made others changes to their theme but we wanted to isolate the upgrade first and perform the test. Their theme is Empire by .

Keep in mind that performance directly impacts conversion rate.

5 A/B tests ideas for Bose.
Use those tests on your own store to increase your revenue.

1️⃣ - Use images in your menu to make each section stand out. Visitors will scan the menu faster so you’ll decrease the chances they bounce. Also, each collection will look way more appealing.

2️⃣ - Make the "Check out" button clearer and more obvious.

3️⃣ - Structure information more conventionally.

4️⃣ - Try to display “Apply code” sooner on the page so visitors don’t have to search for it.

5️⃣ - Cross-selling should be after Summary to avoid confusion.

Use those tests on your own store to increase your revenue.

1️⃣ - Add an announcement bar to display your free shipping threshold or any deal running at the moment

2️⃣ - Display your logo from the beginning in the header. Considering the quality behind the brand, you want to make sure your visitors feel at the right place and start creating a connection with the brand itself.

3️⃣ - Add an additional CTA to send interested visitors to the right place easily. The longer a visitor searches for what he wants, the more chances he gives up.

4️⃣ - Use a more comfortable horizontal scroll and gain some space for sensitive info.

5️⃣ - Show your ratings at the top to increase trust in your product from the get-go.

6️⃣ - Put the main benefits of your product in a strategic place. Your visitors will read them even if they don’t go through your long description. (Use metafields to store those benefits.)
