Canada has become too slow to approve projects, too expensive to build in, and impossible to trust long-term.
Look at Exhibit A.

Since 1980, Canadian businesses are buying about 40% less industrial machinery and equipment.
In the U.S., investment over the same period has nearly doubled.

What does this mean for the average Canadian?

When businesses buy fewer machines, tools, and new technology, workers become less productive. When productivity stalls, businesses can’t afford to pay higher wages. Over time, that shows up as a lower standard of living. It’s a big deal! Paycheques don’t keep up while housing, groceries, keep getting more expensive.

In short: fewer and older tools → lower productivity → slower wage growth → falling living standards.

If we want wages and living standards to rise again, Canada needs to fix three things.
First, make major projects fast and predictable to approve, with clear timelines and final decisions.
Second, make it cheaper to invest in productivity by fully writing off machinery, equipment, automation, and technology so businesses actually upgrade here.
Third, fix the cost gap with the U.S. by reforming the industrial carbon tax so industries aren’t punished for building in Canada.

Let's set the story straight. In the news recently we have Trump threatening Tariffs and Canadians getting nervous. Donald Trump is a business man - it's called "Negotiation Tactic. Canada at the moment sits on the World Stage (We look like Idiots) having Trudeau did not help.
We have a better part of the population in Canada wanting to fight fire with fire when this is not even close to what Trump wants.
The Politicians are fueled by the Media making everyone believe that the USA is now are enemy.
If the USA was our enemy we would already be the 51st state. Without the USA Canada would be in big trouble.
Let's look north of Canada - Greenland. If we don't secure the Northern borders Russia and China will - and that will be the end of North America in years to come.
Calling all politicians: wake-up and act like leaders and treat are economy as a business, don't give it away.
Government Leaders Listen: CAN & USA are one - wakeup!
United.
Bill...
People, it's time to think wisely and Negotiate a good deal for Trump to secure our Northern Boarders and Build Military might north of the Canadian Border.
