🎨 PART 1: PRINTING OUR SENSORY PATHS 🇨🇦

Every Sensory Paths Canada® graphic starts with precision printing on our Roland VG640i printer. This advanced print-and-cut technology allows us to produce vibrant, durable sensory path graphics with exceptional accuracy and consistency.

Using high-quality materials and eco-solvent inks, we create colourful designs that are built to withstand busy schools, hallways, gyms, and learning environments. The VG640i's integrated print-and-cut capabilities ensure every sensory path element is produced with crisp detail and exact dimensions.

Stay tuned for Part 2, where we'll show you how we laminate and cut our sensory path graphics for long-lasting durability!

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES – PRINTING (Part 1 of 3)

This is where every sensory path for schools begins 👇

Meet our Roland VG-640i —
a powerhouse machine built for precision, colour, and consistency.

It’s BIG.
It’s fast.
And it’s built to handle the demands of real school environments.

Most sensory path sections print in 20 minutes or less,
bringing each design to life with vibrant, high-quality detail that’s made to last.

🎥 Watching this in our reel?
Those clips are timelapse—sped up so you can see the full process in seconds.

What you’re seeing is the foundation of every path we create—
graphics designed to support movement, student focus, and self-regulation right in your school.

And this is just the beginning… 👀

🍎 TEACHER TIP: Movement for Focus

If attention is slipping, adding more instruction won’t fix it.

Changing the state will.

A quick burst of movement—think squats beside the desk, a stretch to the ceiling, or a fast-paced hallway loop—can help students reset their brains and come back ready to engage.

Why it works? Movement increases oxygen flow, wakes up the nervous system, and helps students feel more in control of their bodies.

Instead of pushing through low focus, try shifting gears.

That’s where sensory paths for schools make it simple—giving students a clear, structured way to move with purpose and return to learning faster.

That’s why sensory paths for schools are such an effective solution. They provide structured, movement-based opportunities that help students start the day ready to succeed.

🧠 OT Insight: Proprioceptive input plays a key role in student self-regulation and classroom success.

Proprioception is the body’s ability to sense movement, action, and position. When students engage in activities like jumping, pushing, or balancing, they receive important sensory input that helps organize the nervous system.

This type of proprioceptive input for students supports:
✔ Self-regulation
✔ Classroom focus and attention
✔ Emotional control
✔ Smooth transitions throughout the school day

That’s why sensory paths for schools are such a powerful tool. They provide structured, movement-based opportunities that help students regulate and return to learning ready to succeed.

🧠 FUN FACT: Sensory paths aren’t just for “extra energy”…

They support all learners.

Movement isn’t a behaviour fix—it’s a brain tool.
Whether a student is feeling restless, overwhelmed, or even just trying to stay focused, movement helps the brain reset and re-engage.

That means sensory paths can support:
✔ Focus and attention
✔ Memory and retention
✔ Self-regulation
✔ Smooth transitions throughout the day

Because every student benefits from movement—not just the ones who need to “burn off energy.”

🏫 School hallways are more than just transitional spaces—they’re untapped learning environments.

For many students, transitions between classes can lead to increased energy, reduced focus, and challenges with self-regulation. But with intentional design, hallways can become a powerful support tool.

Sensory paths for schools transform hallways into engaging, movement-based environments that help students regulate, refocus, and return to learning ready to succeed.

🎉 Fun Student Engagement

Hop. Stretch. Spin. Balance.

It might look like play… but it’s powerful learning in motion.

These simple movements help students:
✔ Build coordination
✔ Improve focus
✔ Support self-regulation
✔ Stay engaged in the classroom

When movement is part of the day, students are more ready to learn—and more excited to do it.

That’s why sensory paths for schools are such an effective way to bring energy, focus, and fun into your space.

🌈 Inclusive schools understand that learning and self-regulation look different for every student.

Some students need movement to focus. Others need quiet, structure, or sensory input. When schools provide flexible, supportive environments, students are better able to regulate, engage, and succeed.

That’s why sensory paths for schools are such a valuable tool. They offer accessible, movement-based support that helps create more inclusive learning environments for all students.

🍎 TEACHER TIP: Quick Classroom Strategy

When your class starts to lose focus…
don’t push through it.

Pause. Add movement. Reset.

A quick 30–60 second movement break can help students:
✔ Refocus faster
✔ Regulate energy
✔ Stay engaged in learning

Think: jumping, stretching, wall pushes, or a quick hallway walk.

It’s a small shift that makes a big difference.

That’s why many schools are using sensory paths as an easy, built-in way to support movement throughout the day—without disrupting your schedule.
