Mayor Dave Barrow delivered his annual "State of the Town" address to members of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce and guests last month at the Richmond Hill Country Club. The theme of this year’s speech was Yonge Street and focused on the major initiatives happening on or to it, like downtown revitalization, business growth and rapid transit. The Mayor also provided Chamber members updates on other Richmond Hill projects and initiatives, such as parkland dedication, the Strategic Implementation Plan and the DDO Park Master Plan. While at the luncheon, everyone could also check out the Member Showcase to learn more about fellow members of the Chamber of Commerce.
