Yukimi is a Japanese comfort food brand built around one simple feeling: welcome home.

For this branding design project, CGICA created the brand name, logo, concept story, visual identity, packaging, menu design, signage direction, and graphic applications.

The goal was not to make the brand feel loud. It was to make it feel familiar, warm, and easy to remember.

From the soft handwritten-style logotype to the natural textures and gentle colour palette, every detail was designed to reflect homemade honesty and everyday comfort.

A brand does not only live in a logo. It lives in the feeling people remember after they see it, touch it, and experience it.

A space that says “welcome home.” ❤️

For Yukimi, the restaurant atmosphere was designed to feel warm, simple, and welcoming. A place where Japanese comfort food feels close, familiar, and easy to enjoy.

The branding comes to life through the space: soft colours, natural textures, friendly details, and a calm dining environment that makes people feel comfortable the moment they walk in.

This is where brand identity becomes a real experience.

Not just what people see on a sign, but how they feel when they sit down, look around, and share a meal.

Every brand launch feels a little like a football match.

You need to study the field, understand your audience, know the competition, and have a clear game plan before you make the move.

For Magic Noodle, the launch was not just about one grand opening poster. It was about strategy, identity, signage, menus, print materials, and social content all working together in the same direction.

Because a strong brand does not win by accident. It wins when every touchpoint plays its role.

Swipe through to see how branding, marketing, and ex*****on work like a full match strategy.

A lot of brands think going cross-cultural means translating their tagline.

But connection doesn’t happen just because people can read your words.

It happens when they feel understood.

A colour, a phrase, a logo, a menu, a storefront, a customer experience. Every detail sends a message before your customer even decides to buy.

That’s why cross-cultural branding has to go deeper than language. It has to understand what people trust, what feels familiar, and what makes them feel like, “This brand gets me.”

At CGICA, we’ve spent 18 years helping businesses build brands that connect across cultures with strategy, design, and emotional clarity.

Because a great brand doesn’t flatten differences. It finds the emotional truth people can recognize, remember, and share.

Swipe to see the 3 things every cross-cultural brand needs. Save this for your next brand decision.

We don’t open a marketing project by talking about tactics.
Every marketing project has three layers: What, How, and Why. The visible activity (the What, meaning the ads, the posts, the campaign) sits on the outside. The goal (the Why) sits at the core. Most teams start on the outside and work in. We start at the core and work out.
The Why to How to What shape may look familiar. It echoes the Golden Circle. We use it a little differently here: as the running order for a marketing project, not a brand’s purpose statement. Before any ex*****on begins, the studio and the client agree on the goal. That first conversation is expectation management, and it is where most projects are quietly won or lost.
Find the Why first. The rest gets easier.
Save this for your next marketing project. And if someone you know is planning a campaign, send it their way.
