I was incredibly honoured to be asked to design the promotional materials for the upcoming 2023 Nova Scotia International Tattoo.

The theme of this year's festival is OCEANS- a nod to the Navy and recognition of how life in Nova Scotia is influenced by a deep connection to the sea. Our stories and traditions are defined by a strong Maritime history. ⚓️

It's OPEN! It's OPEN! My little hometown of Mabou is bursting with excitement today💜

Cala Na Mara Café happily opened It's doors today and are ready to fill our bellies with fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and hot coffees + lattes!

I think the two most commonly asked questions in Mabou for the past month have been...
1) When is Cala opening?
And
2) What time does the Freshmart close?

I was ecstatic to work with the brilliant minds behind the whole operation to pull together the Cale Cafe branding.

Cala Na Mara translated from Scottish Gaelic means "Haven of the Sea" or roughly "Safe Harbour".

We incorporated a small sketched dingy and other complimentary nautical elements to pull it all together🔱
