“If you don’t stop and look around once and awhile, you might miss things” ☝🏻

That was the vibe at hand for Euro Klassik this year at the Grand Bend Motorplex, being a full-fledged mental requirement 🧠

Each day, I knew there was numerous frames to capture, but between accounting for everything through to knowing where to start, the kid in the candy shop type pace came flowing in 🏃🏼‍♂️🍭

A vital aspect that prompted me to chill for a second and kick back, where I had the chance to appreciate the intricate ex*****on behind and his Widebody Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI 🤌🏻

It’s not often you get to see a project car like this, dialled up with a one-of-one cyberpunk-like vinyl wrap and unique body and aero components that didn’t only complement, but matched ⚡️

After a breather between car shows, the excitement came with a little bit of chaos, where I was reminded that the best automotive photography coverage comes with the patience to pause, absorb and appreciate all the Finer details ✨

The two components of what makes a great car show ✌🏻

From the show cars, the laps on the track and all the way to the burnouts, everything was planned to a T for Euro Klassik 2026 at the Grand Bend Motorplex 👐🏻

First: and the whole team deserve a clink of glasses for everything they’ve unpacked this year 🥂

Secondly, without the car enthusiasts who turned up displaying their show cars, and those who came to really test what their tuner cars are made of, whether on the racetrack or in the burnout pit 👏🏻

The spirit of those involved was all on the same calibre; let this be a tribute to everyone who came to articulate the experience this event was, because as a car photographer, the vibes were immaculate, and it felt like I was capturing a movie unfolding in real time 📸

Casual parking lot hangs ✨

I don’t know about you, but for me, automotive photography all started low-key at the local meets in the parking plaza of La Paloma Gelateria & Cafe in Vaughn, Ontario 🤙🏻

Bizarre but bittersweet, we found ourselves right in the same type of location, doing the same type of thing, even after years of growth, development and maturing 😶

Revisiting our roots, kicking it off with Behn in the late autumn with his modified 2000 Volkswagen Jetta MK4 VR6 🍂

Because no one can refuse a refreshing Coca-Cola 🥤

It’s only a natural time tale as we all get older, but through my experiences as an automotive photographer capturing a variety of car shows, classic cars like this are seen less and less 💎

That being said, Euro Klassik doesn’t miss; in 2026, the atmosphere and aura unite newer-gen models all the way to air-cooled classics ✨

Across generations, you do not have to be an automotive enthusiast or car photographer to appreciate and enjoy the show cars that come out for display ☝🏻

I pay tribute to the legendary owners, technicians, and project car owners like Adam, who connect us to our automotive roots and the overall history 🗞

Adam’s modified 1964 Volkswagen Beetle brought back flashes of childhood nostalgia, because in my Grandpa’s old garage, he had a retro vending machine themed just like this 👏🏻

From an era when modifying cars was becoming increasingly fascinating, the real kudos go to owners like Adam, who executed this through knowledge and experience, and without any YouTube tutorials 🛠

While others become a part of the reason people keep coming back 🥂

Through the hype that goes down at this car show and auto event, from the vehicles on display to the slides on the track, my favourite part hasn’t always been the hype that follows 🫴🏻

It’s solely reconnecting with the pure-spirited car enthusiasts who show up year after year 📆

Where a tightly knit community unites, it’s the legendary faces who never fail to show up and reach others through wholehearted connections 💫

Reconnecting with and his modified 1989-1991 BMW E30 318is, this is exact moral of the story 📖

I can say for myself that it’s been almost a decade, and I don’t doubt that it could be longer, but this custom car setup has been more than just a part of the culture and a pinnacle in itself 🗿

Reflections of genuine passion, consistency, and a supportive inclination that never fades, brings us together on a similar commitment backed by “no excuses”, purely for the culture itself 🤙🏻

What’s your favourite aspect about automotive photography? 👀

Whether it’s driver portraits, night sessions, driving sequences, all the way to static compositions— as a car enthusiast or a shooter yourself, we all have excitement for a lil’ something different 🫴🏻

As a photographer, I can’t refuse a photoshoot throwing down rollers, even a short yet timeless cruise ✨

Especially in scenarios like this, in celebration of Behn popping back out with his three-piece wheels— there’s a vibe of being there, driving in sync, and waiting for that one frame where everything lines up 💆🏻‍♂️

Static images don’t disappoint, but capturing the raw driving experience, I find, reflects the real story of the vehicles themselves ☝🏻

Rollers take choreography and that team-like chemistry between the shooter and the driver, where light unfolds more challenging scenarios and when you pull it off, the captures feel alive 🤌🏻

Running alongside Behn and the Strict Standards Clique, we have had plenty of highway cruises together where the team-like chemistry has formed without the use of walkie-talkies or direct communication 🥂

If you’re a car enthusiast in Ontario, you don’t have to be following to catch waves like this— there’s no doubt that you have seen popping up on your FYPs or recommended feeds 📲

That’s where social media gives us the blessing to catch updates, but it doesn’t always do it justice ☝🏻

Witnessing the modifications and innovations Zach pulled off with his modified 2008 Volkswagen Golf GTI MK5 on GMR GS-05 wheels has been one thing, but seeing it in person absolutely hit the feels 👏🏻

Touching down at Euro Klassik 2026 at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I finally had the chance to catch it in person 👀

Car photography and videos can build the hype for project cars like this, but it hits different catching it live in the flesh. The proportions, carbon fibre and the minor details that come constrained or overlooked in digital files- the appreciation deepens when it’s not seen through a screen 🤌🏻

This iconic custom car project always gets first rights through to setting the bar for the burnouts that follow, and with the first run altogether— the crowd of petrolheads did not come disappointed 👏🏻

Year after year, it only gets crazier and crazier, and the iconic Liqui Moly diesel Volkswagen came through to leave the pit in 🔥

Chaos during the Storm 🌩

I know that’s not the saying, but hey, it couldn’t be any more fitting with this set of automotive photographs 🫴🏻

Between the peeking sun and the clouds of rain, let’s just say a little bit of rain never hurt anyone, and I was not breaking the focus when it came to capturing Luke and his modified 2014 BMW 435i F32 📸

Running with his Work VS-XX wheels, Luke brought the carbon fibre goods and ultimately— that underground street style- to Euro Klassik 2026, with impressive sets of custom RGB lighting on both ends of his custom car project 🌈

Highlights from this past weekend ✌🏻

I went out on a limb just to make sure I made attendance for EURO Klassik / Audi Volkswagen Porsche BMW Mercedes Car Show Event 2026 at the Grand Bend Motorplex 🏃🏻‍♂️

Since 2016, I’ve only missed a few years in between 🤞🏻

Lightroom has been feeling the jam ever since. Let’s be real, I still have collections of automotive photographycoverage that never made it out, on top of this year’s fire 😳

While I still have previous years to brush up on, let this demonstrate my dedication towards the love, respect, and appreciation for this car show right here in Ontario 📍

The dedication, the coordination, through to the staff and volunteers- the atmosphere is always on point, and somehow, only gets better and better, year after year 🤌🏻

It couldn’t be more of an honour to be a part of and contribute to the history of this epic auto event and amazing carculture altogether 👏🏻

Now, there’s plenty to get sappy over, but for now, let’s get back to the hype 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

The timeline’s real… ⏳

Popping back out has called for revisiting some of my earliest works and the roots of where everything all began, stemming back to the street photography sessions of downtown Toronto in 2014 📸

Popping back out slowly, steadily, and with some preparations considered, we have the opportunity to look back at where I started, to one of my most recent sessions 🔁

Popping back out with for a photoshoot was necessary when his three-piece wheels came refinished, but we still have plenty of sets in between that we’re yet to crank out ☝🏻

A blast into the past ✌🏻

There’s been plenty of triumph and more so, the last couple of years have been humbling, but that only leads to personaland professional growth, especially as a freelancer 🧎🏻‍♂️

Across my photography and graphic design portfolio, written articles, and fine-art collections stem back all the way to 2014, and some have lived forever ♾

I decided that since building my website from the ground up, it was only fair that we regain traction here on social media while revisiting where the creative pursuits naturally unfolded 🤲🏻

Revisiting past sessions only shows the growth between old and new, where you can never go wrong revisiting your roots 🌱

[📌] Artist Statement

Many can create or dabble in the process ☝🏻

But separation in the field comes with a dedicated spirit, intention and pure-backed spirit 💫

As an artist, I’m an open book, but as a creative strategist, ex*****on comes sharp and tactful 🗡

Spending years innovating my own works when possible, I had loads of experience producing campaigns, visual stories and building community with .standards 🌐

I don’t think many others can vouch for the decade and beyond of pure Creative Cloud subscriptions, shutter clicking, and collaborating seamlessly to help businesses 🥂

After a decade behind both the camera and the computer screen, I sit back only to realize how fast the time went, juggling photography and graphic design ⌛️

However, witnessing the impact, growth, and the collaborative partners still prospering in their industries has been an absolute reward 👏🏻
