On October 1, Thorpe Recovery Centre is bringing Her Strength. Her Story. to Lloydminster: an evening centred on women, resilience, connection and the experiences that shape us.

The evening features keynote speaker Jess Tetu, alongside local entrepreneur and Thorpe Recovery Centre alumna Mindy Hawthorne, with Kurt Price as emcee and live entertainment from Jordyn Pollard.

We’re proud to help spread the word about an evening that celebrates strength in all its forms — including the courage it takes to tell your story.

Last week, we had the pleasure of sponsoring free ice cream from The Scoop Lloydminster as part of one of the first fundraising efforts for Lloydminster's 125th anniversary, which will take place in 2028!!

Thank you to the Lloydminster Museum + Archives for hosting this event, and a big thanks to everyone who stopped by to enjoy the delicious BBQ, sponsored and served by Harris Electric Co Ltd and to The Scoop Lloydminster for providing the ice cream.

It was so great to see so many community members come out and celebrate together.
