Sublimation vs. DTF Apparel – Which is Better? 🤔
🔥 Sublimation

✅ Print becomes part of the fabric – absolutely no feel
✅ Can outlast the garment itself
✅ Won't crack, peel, or fade
✅ No special washing instructions
❌ Requires 65%+ polyester
❌ Works only on white, grey, or light-coloured apparel
❌ Cannot print white

🔥 DTF (Direct to Film)

✅ Works on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas & more
✅ Can be applied to light AND dark garments
✅ Prints vibrant colours, including white
✅ Great for detailed logos, photos, and fine text
✅ Soft, flexible finish
✅ Durable (Designed to last with proper care)
✅ Excellent stretch and crack resistance
✅ Perfect for one-offs or bulk orders

So...which is better?

✔ Sublimation is the best choice for light-coloured polyester apparel when you want a print with absolutely no feel that becomes part of the fabric.

✔ DTF is the best choice when you want vibrant, full-colour designs on virtually any garment, especially cotton or dark colours.

At LexEm Creations, we offer both! We'll recommend the best printing method based on your design and apparel, so you get the best possible results every time.
