Last April, we hosted our first ever Connector Series, bringing together a group of business leaders for an afternoon of meaningful conversation and connection.

What started as a simple idea, bringing together business leaders to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another, turned into an afternoon of meaningful conversations and new connections.

One of the biggest takeaways was a reminder that leaders do not always have opportunities to openly discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and compare what is actually working in their organizations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversations.

Setting an out-of-office reply is easy. Meaning it is the hard part.

Here's what it takes:

• A system that monitors itself, so you don’t have to
• A team that knows how to escalate issues
• Backups that are tested and ready when needed
• A help desk that handles requests while you're away

When all of that is in place, out of office stops being a polite lie.

A few snapshots from our Lunch & Learn with Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology and AVS Legal - Legal Technology Consulting last week at K**a in Calgary.

We had a great room of legal professionals discussing a topic that’s becoming harder for firms to ignore: how to use technology, automation, and AI to reduce admin work without compromising security or client confidentiality.

The conversation was practical, timely, and focused on what law firms are facing right now.
