This iPhone 15 Pro Max came in with a cracked screen after being dropped.

The customer needed to return the phone to Rogers under contract, so the goal was simple: make the device functional, clean, and return-ready without overspending on a screen that wasn’t necessary for this situation.

Not every repair needs the most expensive option. Sometimes, the smart option is the one that makes the most sense.

Two years without cleaning almost cooked this gaming laptop.

This Surface Pro came back for the 4th time because the touch stopped registering properly again.
That’s exactly why a lot of shops don’t like working on Microsoft Surface Pros. They’re thin, fragile, glued together, and sometimes even after a screen replacement, issues can come back.
But this client has been with us since we opened, and she has always been patient and kind with us. So we stood behind our warranty, replaced the panel again, and tested everything carefully before giving it back.
Repair work is not always about the easiest job. Sometimes it’s about taking care of the people who trusted you.

This Xbox Series X came in with no HDMI signal, but the repair turned into more than just replacing the HDMI port.
We found a broken port, lots of dust, dry thermal paste, and even the Project Scarlett Easter egg on the CPU — Microsoft’s original codename for the Xbox Series X.
HDMI repaired, console cleaned, thermal paste replaced, and ready to game again.

The Steam Deck was turning on, the screen was fine, and almost everything worked… except the left trigger.

Once we opened it, we found that the tiny trigger point button inside was broken from too much pressure.

Small part. Big problem. Perfect microscope repair.

Your Xbox controller moving by itself? That’s stick drift. 👀

For this repair, we removed the faulty joystick module using a specialized soldering tip, installed a TMR magnetic joystick upgrade, then calibrated everything so the stick returns perfectly to center.

Instead of throwing the controller away, sometimes the better move is to upgrade the part that failed.

A DIY Nintendo 3DS repair turned into a microscope job 😅
This 3DS had damaged connectors, screen issues, and an extra challenge: it was a Japanese/modified model, so the screen was not a simple match.
We were able to repair the damaged connections under the microscope and bring it back to life.
Later, the client noticed another separate issue and brought it back to us. Since she’s been so kind and patient, we’re helping her with the next repair free of charge.
