👁️A closer look at three of the environments we brought to life at SDC 2026.

Each space had a completely different job to do.

🩷For Puig, one large footprint had to house multiple fragrance worlds — using scale, colour, campaign graphics and dimensional elements to give each brand its own identity while still feeling connected.

🖤For Clarins, the challenge was visibility from every direction. A circular footprint, suspended branding, illuminated campaign graphics and integrated merchandising turned the space into a 360° beauty destination.

🩵For Dolce & Gabbana, the graphic language became the environment itself. The blue-and-white Majolica-inspired pattern moved across walls, dimensional elements and a fully wrapped vehicle, while the Capri-inspired scenery tied the entire experience together.
That’s the part of experiential work we love most: taking a campaign off the page and building a physical world around it.

And there’s still plenty more from this record-breaking September to share.

September was one for the books.🎆

🏆SDC 2026 capped off a record-breaking month for Simpson Print, and this floor was the perfect example of what happens when strategy, design, print, fabrication, and installation come together at scale.
👨‍🎨Across the show, our team helped bring five distinct brand environments to life, each with its own visual language, materials, structure, and customer experience.
💄From Puig’s multi-brand fragrance footprint, to Dolce & Gabbana’s dramatic gold Devotion environment and immersive Capri-inspired floral activation, to Clarins’ circular beauty space and Glasshouse Fragrances’ elevated retail moment — every build required a different approach.

What you see in this reel is only the surface.

Behind each environment were layers of large-format print, custom fabrication, structural elements, dimensional signage, branded surfaces, finishing details, logistics, and on-site installation, all working together to create spaces that felt unique to each brand.

This is exactly the kind of work we love: ambitious concepts, tight timelines, high expectations, and a finished result that stops people in their tracks.

We’ll break down each activation next and share more details behind the builds. Which colour scheme speaks to you most? Tell us in the comments 💓

What does it take to lead a 63-year-old company through change, growth, and uncertainty?

Recently, our CEO, Carla Johanns, joined Denise Gustavson on the Her Imprint podcast for an honest conversation about leadership, resilience, mentorship, and the journey that brought her back to the family business she never planned to lead.

From returning to Simpson Group during one of the most difficult chapters in her family's history to helping transform the company into one of Canada's most diversified print manufacturing organizations, Carla shares the lessons, challenges, and mindset shifts that have shaped her career.

Some of the topics explored in the episode:

• Building credibility in a traditionally male-dominated industry
• Turning obstacles into opportunities for growth
• The importance of mentorship and developing future leaders
• Why "presses are not sold without sales" remains one of her core business philosophies
• Learning to be kinder to yourself while pursuing ambitious goals

One of our favourite takeaways:
"No one has to prove anything to anyone but yourself."

And another reminder every leader needs to hear:

"Be kind to yourself. It's okay to fail. It's okay to stumble. This too shall pass."

Thank you to Denise Gustavson and the Her Imprint team for creating a platform that celebrates and amplifies the women shaping the future of print.

A busy retail environment is one of the toughest places to capture consumer attention.

For MCoBeauty’s activation at Real Canadian Superstore in Etobicoke, every element had to work together to create a destination shoppers couldn’t miss.

Here’s a quick look at the finished installation.

We’ll be sharing a deeper breakdown of the production, fabrication, logistics, and ex*****on behind this project on LinkedIn in the coming days.

A national retail rollout across 10 locations! Swipe to see our displays in store.

Every store we built this in is slightly different. From modular display systems to on-site install alignment, every location was built to deliver the same brand experience, regardless of those differences.

This program required production, coordination, adaptability, and consistency across every environment.

Stay tuned for next week where we go into details on back end, coordination, and renderings. 🔨💄

The quality of a printed piece is determined long before it reaches the press.

Ink behaviour, material compatibility, and production method all impact the final result. Especially at scale.

UV offset printing allows for greater consistency, faster curing, and expanded material options compared to traditional methods.

At Simpson Print, this is built into a fully integrated production process; aligning material selection, print method, and ex*****on from start to finish.

Because to us, print isn’t just about appearance, it’s about performance.
