✨ A Quick PSA to our Customers ✨
As Fan Expo Canada quickly approaches, we want to extend our excitement about seeing you all again in the NORTH building with the celebrities! We will be located at booth 3509 and will be carrying thousands of imported Pokeplush for our customers!
With that being said, we have an announcement to make. We have been in business since 2014, and we have done minimal price increases since the inception of the company. We have not raised prices at all since COVID, even though our expenses have skyrocketed with inflation, increased shipping, product costs rising exponentially, etc. We have always done our best to be transparent with our customers about the behind-the-scenes of the company’s operations, and today we’re letting everyone know that after Fan Expo Canada 2026, we must raise our product prices or we will not be able to stay operational in future.
Speaking from a place of wholehearted honesty, the climate of running this company has vastly shifted since our inception. Pokemon Center themselves opened online stores, products are more difficult than ever to import due to corporations in Japan not wanting their merchandise to be sold in the North American market, and ongoing disputes with the USA with increased tariffs, etc. have made it increasingly difficult to maintain international trade. We’ve been doing our best to hold things together, but we’re to a point where the stress and financial strain of keeping the company above water is starting to take its toll. We are one of the only anime and gaming collectibles companies that has held off on increasing product prices for as long as we have, and we hope that our valued clients can understand and support our decision so that we can remain in business doing what we love to do.
We really appreciate your support at Fan Expo Canada, and it will be wonderful to see all of you again. Pricing will remain the same for this final event of the season to clear out stock, so please grab what you need at the event! As always, we value you all more than can be expressed in words, so thank you for continually choosing us over the last decade+ of business. ♥️
