Congratulations, Patrick!
It is an honor to win the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce 2026 Business Person of the year award! Like I said in my acceptance speech, it’s really an award for all Business folks, leaders and owners that help make our city a beautiful place to live, contribute, and grow!
I’m grateful for all the individuals and organizations that have encouraged and mentored me in business, and, given me an opportunity to serve. I would need an entire book to list every one of you.
Most importantly, I’m thankful for my boss at work and home - for her love, leadership, and partnership- Cynthia Egbunonu, PMP®
I’m thankful for the team at Informanos Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Inc. We are dedicated to building and implementing Analytics and AI solutions that help the coaches and organizations we serve grow and succeed.
Our AI powered feedback platform helps organizations know what their employees are thinking, and use the insights generated to help their leaders grow. We also build custom Analytics and AI solutions for organizations, in addition to our global AI training programs.
Also grateful for the opportunity to work with the great team at 1MT Technical & Leadership Institute . I am excited about our vision to support the development of future technical leaders in Africa!
Finally, I’m inspired by all the work that several organizations do to support economic and business growth in our city - Kingston Economic Development Corporation , Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce , KEYS Employment & Newcomer Services , and so many others. Thank you!
I came to Canada - Kingston, Ontario, to be specific - in 2003, in my mid-twenties, with less than $200 to my name, one suitcase, and no family to support me. All I had was a scholarship from Queen’s University to pursue a master’s degree in chemical engineering. I remain very grateful to everyone who has supported my growth and success over the past 23 years. I also want to thank Dr. Martin Guay for his decision to take on this kid from Africa as his student 23 years ago, and Dr. Veronica Adetola and her family for welcoming me into their home when I first arrived in Canada.
