🍎 The end of an era at Apple.
After 15 years as CEO, Tim Cook is stepping down on September 1. Apple’s current hardware engineering chief, John Ternus, will take over as CEO, while Cook moves into the role of Executive Chairman. (macrumors.com)
Cook took over from Steve Jobs in 2011, and during his time at the helm we saw the launch of the Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple Music, Vision Pro and plenty more.
For those of us who work with Apple products every single day, this is a pretty significant change. 👀
Ternus comes from the hardware side of Apple, so we’re especially interested to see what his leadership means for the future of iPhone, Mac and Apple’s approach to hardware and repairability. 🔧📱💻
What do you think — will Apple get better under new leadership?
