There’s a version of confidence agents get sold as a personality trait, you’re either the type who’s comfortable on camera or you’re not. That’s not what these two were actually talking about on the podcast.

What they described sounds more like muscle memory than talent. You post the same kind of thing enough times that it stops feeling like a performance. You send the same follow-up enough times that the words stop catching in your throat.

Confidence isn’t the thing you need before you start, it’s what’s left over after you’ve done the reps.

The agents who look naturally confident right now probably didn’t feel that way eighteen months ago. They just kept going long enough to get a reward from the effort.

It only gets easier from here,

People decide whether to keep scrolling before they even read your copy.

If your ad looks like an ad, it gets treated like one, skipped.

But if it looks like something a friend just posted? They pause. They read. They actually see what you have to say.

Make it feel native to the feed, not like it’s trying to sell something. That’s what earns the extra second of attention.

The advantage isn't hypothetical anymore, AI is here. It's an extra set of hands, on demand, picking up the work you always meant to get to.

One of our developers said it well this morning: stuff he used to let slide, just because starting it felt like a whole thing, he now hands off. An AI agent takes it from there. Done.

Getting in early on this does two things at once. Gives you a real lift right now. And leaves you already set up for whatever's next, instead of playing catch-up when it arrives you're the one leading the market.

Five years from now, the agents ahead won't be the ones who worked the most hours. They'll be the ones who let go of doing it all themselves.

She didn’t guess who was thinking about listing. She noticed.

A little more activity here. A little more interest there. Small signals, easy to miss, unless you’re paying attention.

That’s the difference between reaching out at the right moment and hoping someone remembers your name when they’re finally ready.

Stay close to your database. It’ll tell you who’s ready before they tell you.

If I had to start a real estate business from zero tomorrow, there's no debate, Facebook and Instagram ads, full stop.

Nothing finds people raising their hand that they're interested in buying or selling real estate like it. And this isn't a theory, we've worked with agents like Kim Knetter who have shown up in cities where they didn't know a single soul, run an ad, and grown a great business out of nothing but clicks.

A click turns into a conversation. Enough conversations, and a total stranger ends up trusting you with the biggest purchase of their life.

You don't have to be the most known. You just need to be visible where your future clients hangout.

StreetText already covers a lot... ads, follow-up, everything in between. What's next is simple: less manual work, more time doing what you actually love.

Smart Outreach is already proving that out. It picks up your leads when you can't get to them, and hands the conversation right back the second you want in. Agents using it are booking appointments at 5x the rate of the ones still doing it by hand.

The AI isn't outsmarting anyone. It's just always on, covering the gaps while you're out closing deals, running showings, being the person your clients actually want to talk to.

That's the goal going forward, fewer things between you and your next appointment.

A phone call reaches one person, once. A video you filmed years ago can still be working for you today.

Leon's proof, he's closing deals off footage he shot a long time back. One video can put your name in front of thousands of people, over and over, turning your investment into an evergreen ad.

A call only ever gets whoever picked up, and only for that one moment.

If every ad gets included to your remarketing ad bundle, it stays fresh. Once it's live, it's door knocking on your behalf.

Your voicemail goes quiet the second you hang up. Your video's out there finding your next client while you're at dinner.

Most ads feel like ads, this one didn’t.

Just a calculator that told people whether downsizing actually made sense for them.

No “DM me now.” No countdown timer. Just a tool that answered a real question before anyone even mentioned a listing.

Being useful before someone’s ready to buy is still marketing. It just doesn’t feel like it to the person on the other end.

And that’s why it works.

Here’s the thing about follow-up: we give it a week, hear nothing back, and quietly give up.

We looked at 10,000 conversations to find out what separates the agents who are booking 5x more appointments. It wasn’t a sharper pitch. It wasn’t better copy. They just didn’t stop showing up.

Scheduled texts. Reminders that still feel personal, not automated. AI keeping the conversation warm while you’re literally in a showing and you still read every message before it goes out, because the follow-up should sound like you, not a bot.

Nobody converts on message one. They convert because someone stayed in the conversation long after everyone else quit.

That’s the long game. And it’s the one that actually pays off.

A seller lead lands. Here’s what Shelby Cannon does in the first 5 minutes, before the VA touches it, before anything.

She calls. Immediately.

Then a CMA by email and again in the mail, because the mailer converts more than the email ever does. Then straight onto a monthly postcard with a home value QR code, so she can literally see the moment they start checking again. Then she follows up for a year.

That’s the whole system. Not a script, not luck. A process she runs every single time.

A home value isn’t the finish line. It’s the first hello. What happens after is what turns a lead into a client and Shelby’s proof that speed plus follow-through beats everything else combined.
