You can type the URL directly into the address bar in any browser such as google which helps with checking its validity. Always avoid clicking on links or cutting and pasting from suspicious emails or emails from unknown contacts. File attachments from these emails contain a downloadable virus or malware.

Cybercriminals are tirelessly inventing new ways of tricking people to click on links or open attachments that create weaknesses to attack. Therefore, If you receive a message from someone you know or do not know making big promises. Remember to STOP, THINK, and CONNECT; and if you are in any doubt, ignore/delete for its likely a scam.
