One of our newest website launches: Strike Zone Performance 🧠🏆

Ashley Strike is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant helping athletes and teams strengthen mindset, focus, and confidence through individual sessions, workshops, and online sessions across Ottawa and Toronto.

Her new site needed to:
✅ Clearly explain mental performance consulting and who it’s for
✅ Make it easy to book a free discovery call
✅ Lay out services and pricing in a clean, professional way
✅ Feel polished, modern, and credible for athletes and parents

We built a custom website that supports Ashley’s work and makes it simple for new clients to learn, build trust, and take the next step.

If you’re posting “Happy Monday” every week and hoping enquiries roll in, it’s going to feel slow.

Post like you want to get hired.

Show that you know your stuff, and make it easy for someone to choose you.

Four post types that do the heavy lifting:

• Proof: your work, before and after, results, reviews

• Process: what you check, how you do it, what you do differently

• Education: tips, mistakes to avoid, what customers should know before they book

• Problem solving: answer the questions customers ask before they reach out

You do not need to post more. You need to post with a purpose.

Getting ghosted after quote requests is usually not a “lead problem.” It’s a clarity problem.

When your form feels vague, customers assume the next step will be slow, messy, or high pressure, so they bail.

Tightening up your form does two things fast:

It filters out the wrong-fit enquiries.

It reassures the right-fit ones that you have a clean process.

Bonus: keep your form short. Name, contact, and one qualifying question is plenty.

If social feels like one more thing on your plate, keep it simple.

Here are five posts you can pull from one week of work:

1. The job before you start

2. Mid-project progress

3. Finished result

4. One tip customers should know

5. A client message or review screenshot

Kind words like this make the long days worth it.

Big thank you to Brandon at Hidden Gem Roofing, Fraser at NS Home Buyers, and Cooper at Total Truck Solutions for the trust and the feedback.

We put a lot into every website and marketing system we build, and it means a lot when clients take the time to share their experience.

A strong site does more than exist.

It should:

• pre-answer questions

• show proof

• explain process

• set expectations

• make the next step simple

That reduces back and forth and helps customers feel confident before they call.

Anyone can say “quality work” or “great service.”

What customers trust is patterns.

Show them things like:

• how many projects you complete each month

• your warranty or process

• your team on site

• your response time

This is the kind of proof that makes someone choose you before they even call.

Most of the time, the business winning online is not the “best.”

They are the one showing up every week.

New photos. New projects. New reviews. A few service pages updated. A blog answering what customers search. A steady Google presence.

Consistency is what builds trust, rankings, and enquiries.

If your marketing only happens when you have time, it will always feel behind.

Open your website and ask yourself one simple question.

If a stranger landed here, would they understand what you do in five seconds?

A strong homepage usually nails three things fast:

-The service you provide

-The area you serve

-The next step (call or request a quote)

If any of those are unclear, you are making your marketing work harder than it needs to.

When things slow down, most businesses go quiet. That is the opposite of what helps.

Slow season is setup season. What you build now is what brings the calls later.

If you want a simple rule to follow, do the boring stuff your competitors skip: tighten your online presence, refresh the proof, and make it easier for someone to choose you fast.

Then when demand picks back up, you are not scrambling. You are already the business showing up first.

Most business owners search their business name and assume everything is fine.

That’s not how customers search.

Try this instead: “roof repair Barrie” or “pool contractor Bradford” or “window replacement Newmarket.”

If you’re not showing up, it’s usually one of these:

1. Your Google listing needs work

2. Your website pages are too thin

3. Your competitors have simply been consistent longer

That one search tells you a lot.
