We are honoured to have Chief Dr. Wilton Littlechild joining us to share important information about Treaty, our rights, and the Alberta Referendum.

Chief Littlechild brings decades of knowledge, experience and leadership on Treaty rights and Indigenous issues. This is an opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions and understand what is at stake for our Nations and our Treaty relationship.

Whether you are on or off reserve, come out and get informed. Bring your family, bring an Elder, bring a friend. Everyone is welcome!

Free, Prior and Informed Consent is more than a phrase; it is about our rights, our Treaties, our lands, waters, and future generations.

As Indigenous Peoples, we also have a responsibility to clearly define what meaningful consultation and consent look like to us. Governments and industry should not be deciding that standard for us.

It is time for our Nations, leadership, youth, Elders and knowledge keepers to come together, reaffirm our rights, and put forward a united understanding of what FPIC means on our territories.
