Happy Friday, Minto! 👋 Our Economic Development & Planning Committee recently visited Palmerston Manufacturing as part of our ongoing Corporate Call tour.

Located in Palmerston’s industrial park, Palmerston Manufacturing is a modern metal fabrication and contract manufacturing facility producing high-quality components using advanced equipment and technology. Their work supports a wide range of industries while contributing skilled jobs and investment right here in our community.

It was great to learn more about their operations, meet the team behind the work, and see firsthand how manufacturing continues to play an important role in Minto’s growing economy. Thank you to the Palmerston Manufacturing team for welcoming us and sharing your story.

We are thrilled to unveil the total makeover of the Huron Fringe Birding Festival website! Since 2011, OSiM has been the digital home for this signature event, and for 2026, we’ve taken things to a whole new level.

What’s new?

A Total Makeover: Modern, sleek, and easy to navigate.

Logic-Filled Registration: We rebuilt the portal from the ground up to save the incredible volunteers tons of time.

Custom Built: Tailored specifically for the unique needs of birders and organizers at MacGregor Point Provincial Park.

Okay seriously, if you have not experienced May's Cafe you really need to. The food and drinks are second to none. Don't worry about the corporate stores, support May and this small business that is drawing visitors to Harriston and Minto! Also, shhh okay not shh, shout it out, May does the most incredible catering experiences. Not something you can normally find in Minto. Trust us, this is something worth stopping in downtown Harriston for...today....and tomorrow....okay likely the day after too.
