Panovolo 1.11.0 released with high-resolution, GPU-accelerated Review page and new review tools
This release introduces a completely redesigned Review page with support for high-resolution images and full GPU acceleration, along with several new tools to improve panorama editing and workflow efficiency.
High-Resolution, GPU-Accelerated Review: The Review page has been fully reimplemented to support high-resolution images with hardware-accelerated rendering. All adjustments are now fully interactive, including yaw, pitch, roll and opacity adjustments for individual images, as well as panorama central point adjustments.
Direct Image Adjustments: Selected image yaw and pitch can be directly adjusted by Ctrl (⌘ or Command on macOS) + Drag move and roll can be adjusted by Shift + Drag move. Opacity of the selected image can also be adjusted interactively, using Alt + Drag gesture.
Unlimited Undo/Redo: All Review page adjustments – yaw, pitch, roll of individual images, and panorama central point changes – now support unlimited Undo and Redo through the Edit > Undo and Edit > Redo menu options.
Compass Widget: A new Compass widget displays panorama orientation relative to true geographic bearings for panoramas captured with compatible drones. Panorama can be reoriented such that the center points North, South, East or West by clicking on the N-S-E-W buttons.
Field Of View Display: For panorama projections that cannot display the full 360×180 field of view (such as, for example, Mercator or Rectilinear), a target projection field-of-view overlay can now be displayed via View > Field of View. The unshaded region indicates which portion of the panorama will appear in the final output, allowing users to adjust the panorama central point accordingly.
