Another step towards my “Ultimate” GameCube! We have the wireless GBA adapter for emerald/FR/LG, GameBoy player, Xeno chip mod for region free disk reading, SD card adapter to run back ups of games to save my disks, and a cute new RGB fan. Potentially looking at a shell swap, power LED color change and a USB-C power conversion!

Ok, hear me out…

With unsuccessful repair attempts on the free Atari (& realizing I was working on tech from the 80’s) I started thinking about another use.

Still in the design process but doing a little test fitting, it looks like I can fit the baby ITX board I have; ryzen 5600g, 24gb ddr4 ram, and 2 nvme slots, which has enough juice for some retro console action up to Xbox/PS2/GameCube.

Unsure about cooling solution, hoping exhaust fans on the rear move enough heat out since there’s no clearance on top of the heat sink , might be able to fit a low pro cooler of some kind….decisions decisions
