Hi! It's about time for some introductions. Thank-you to everyone that has spread the word about my company, and for those of you that have supported our electronics recycling program.

I'm Brent. I'm the owner of Lighthouse IT Computers.

I've been working in the tech industry for over 15 years. I recently moved to Nova Scotia with my wife and young children and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the warm welcome! Everyone here has been so friendly, inviting, and supportive while we transition our lives to the East Coast!

I would like to offer my help to you in your home and business. I can provide convenient solutions and fast service. For those of you that own a business, I can help you increase your revenue through managed services, increase your workflow productivity, troubleshoot any technical issues you may have, and most importantly provide your data bases with the back ups that they need.

Give me a call at 902.765.9137. I would love to talk with you about areas you're struggling with and how I can fix it for you.

We want to give a huge shout out to https://m.facebook.com/amyhollowayphotography/. Amy generously donated 3 laptops and 2 cellphones to our electronics recycling program.

They’re in the process of being refurbished, cleaned of all data and personal information, and going out to their new homes. One of the laptops will be on its way to a single mom with 4 little kids that immigrated only a few short months ago from Syria to our community.

Thank you soooooo much Amy for your amazing contribution! Your contribution will undoubtedly make a big impact in our community.

We started this program to reduce the amount of electronic waste in Annapolis Valley Landfills and give back to those community members and organizations that are in need and could put these pieces of technology to good use. If you have any old, broken laptops, computers, or cellphones hiding in boxes in your basement, dig them out and give us a call. We’ll gladly come and pick them up and enter them into the program!

You’re most likely paying more than you should for internet. 😱

The majority of advertising for Internet Service Providers is for Eastlink and Bell, here in Nova Scotia. However, third party resellers are available.

This website helps users find internet providers in their area if you’re not from the Annapolis Valley.

Here’s an example of their prices.

Slowest tier
Bell: $95.95 a month (100mbps)
Netfox: $49.94 (100mbps)
Eastlink: $110.95 (150mbps)

Netfox is a reseller of Eastlink and also has tv and home phone services too. So why pay more for something when you can have the exact same thing for less?
