“Moonlight Reverie” depicts an eerie yet graceful scene featuring an apparition-like
woman, while chrysanthemum flowers are illuminated by the moonlight from within the wispy darkness. Light washes of acrylic lend a fluid and almost dream-like quality to the image, as the woman’s hair and body begin to serenely meld into the surroundings - indicative of a state of reverie. The beauty of the subject beckons the viewer in, contrasting with the mysterious and
whimsical surroundings.

Thank you for coming to the opening ceremonies for the Creatures and Curiosities show! We had a wonderful group of people come by, and had some amazing chats with everyone! We sold a few pieces today as well!

Thank you so much for all the love and support! The show is now officially up!!! You can come see it Tuesday-Friday 11-4pm or Saturday 10,17 and 24th from 1-3pm during artist talks! Interested in a private showing? Send me an email!

The inspiration behind this piece:

The last dragon came down from his castle in the sky to wander earth for the first and last time. Instead of admiring it from above he wanted to experience the beauty of the forest and lakes up close.
