This iPhone 11 came in for data recovery. On prompt to boot the device was stuck in a low current draw. The customer said it turned off and wouldn't power on. He said he got it to power on briefly before it died completely. These symptoms indicate a disconnected CPU. To fix the device and recover the data I needed to perform a CPU reball. This is an extremely delicate procedure where one wrong move can catastrophically damage the CPU destroying any hope of recovering the data. I repaired the device and recovered the data successfully.
