Omicron Updates: Cases is just shooting up, USA is approaching Million, Oz - who used to manage Covid is now at health risk if hospitalization ramped up. Canada, cases shot up too, pre-emptive measures are being taken considering impacted healthcare resources.

Omicron is breaking down all previous records with its high transmissibility, on most cases, more than doubled previous highs. Severity is less so far but governments are taking steps not to stress the health care systems.

Covid Update 5th Dec 2021

Omicron Variant impact is yet to be known that Global economy is once again at uncertain situation, travel restrictions are now once again in place for risky origins. Financial markets are severely impacted. Below are updated infographics. I also included a infograph from Bloomberg showing covid variants impact so far, and Vax Hospitalization/ICU stats from Ontario Canada.

Meanwhile, anti-viral pills from Merck and Pfizer are anticipated soon, these anti-virals would definitely help in minimizing hospitalizations but Vaccination is more effective as it is preventive. This means that for as long as other countries are not generally vaccinated, the significant threats of new variants will always be around.

Covid-19 Updates, 29th October 2020

Countries on the Temperate Zone are concerned with the onset of the cold season, France and Germany (and other countries) had reverted to tighter restrictions implemented on initial wave last spring. Daily cases had surpassed the first wave peaks.

One study noted that the virus survives for as long as 28 days on non-porous surfaces at 20C below suggesting that the virus will be more prevalent during the cold season.
