Gravel Grind riders — want to be part of something new?

We’re teaming up with Gravel Grind to test out a brand-new app built right here in New Brunswick: In Line Tracking — designed to keep groups connected, in sync, and flowing better on the trail.

We’re looking for 10 riders doing the 30K, 50K, or 80K to beta test it during the ride!

Here’s the breakdown:

SATURDAY, MAY 31 @ 5PM
Meet the team, get the app set up, and learn how it works!

SUNDAY, JUNE 1 – Ride Day!
Track your ride, stay linked with your group, and enjoy the full Gravel Grind experience. We’ll be nearby if anything comes up.

TUESDAY, JUNE 3 – Feedback Night
Tell us what worked and what didn’t — and enjoy a drink on us while you’re at it.

It’s simple: ride as usual, help shape the app, and be part of something built for riders, by riders.

Spots are limited — DM or Email us to jump in! [email protected]

✨ Meet Sam Salfi! ✨

Sam is the lead programmer at InLine Apps and a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of New Brunswick. He’s been coding since he was 13—building everything from video games and apps to full-scale websites. One of his standout projects? Disney Plus Party, a browser extension that gained widespread use during its release.

InLine Apps is a fantastic place for new challenges, especially on the development side, and Sam is excited to push his skills even further. He’s always loved building things and has long looked for ways to better connect with the community—this is a meaningful step toward that goal. For Sam, programming isn’t just about code—it’s about creating tools that help people come together in real life.

When we asked Sam what excites him most about InLine Apps, he said:
“InLine Apps is a fantastic place for new challenges, both development- and business-wise. I’ve always wanted to connect more with the community and this is a great step.”

We’re pumped to have Sam on board!

✨ Meet Jacey Dane! ✨

We’re thrilled to introduce Jacey Dane, an educator, community advocate, volunteer, and partner at InLine Apps. With leadership experience on the STU Women’s Hockey Team and a strong background in coaching youth athletics, Jacey is deeply passionate about building connections and fostering a sense of community through both her professional and volunteer work.

From a young age, Jacey has been driven by a relentless passion for innovation, always dreaming up new ways to bring people together, whether the ideas seemed big or small. This creative drive has always centered on building something meaningful, which ultimately contributed to the development of InLine Apps — a platform designed to empower people to engage in group activities that prioritize safety, inclusivity, and genuine connection.

When we asked Jacey what excites her most about InLine Apps, she shared: “InLine Apps reimagines how we experience activities, turning solo moments into dynamic shared experiences that connect people, foster real relationships, and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging.”

We’re excited to have Jacey on the team!

✨ Meet the Team: Kyle Brown! ✨

We’re excited to introduce Kyle Brown, a business student at the University of New Brunswick, specializing in finance. Kyle isn’t just about numbers—he’s all about building community. Whether it’s hosting events, planning group activities, or getting involved in clubs, Kyle’s energy is infectious.

His journey began when he and a few friends decided to start Amateur Hour, a weekly group ride for casual bike riders. What started as a fun way to connect quickly turned into a full-blown passion. Kyle didn’t stop there; he took his community-building to the next level by getting involved with the UNB Ski & Snowboard Club, where he played a key role in organizing awesome events like the Warren Miller Movie Premiere and Rail Jam.

When we asked Kyle what In Line Apps means to him, here’s what he shared:
"In Line Apps is more than a company—it’s a movement to bring people together through real-world connections. While technology has made it easier to communicate, it’s also created a disconnect in how we interact. I’m excited to be part of a company that’s working to change that and make socialization more meaningful."

We’re thrilled to have Kyle on board! 💥

Every company has a story, and we wanted to share ours with you. 💚

It all started on a group ride with about 30 cyclists. We had one rule: no one gets left behind. But with different paces and abilities, and the group’s eagerness to push limits, it became tough to keep everyone together. There was a leader and a sweeper, but the sweeper had more of a leader mentality.

That’s when we thought—what if there was a way to make sure no one ever has to ride alone, no matter their pace? And that’s how the idea for our first app was born. A real-time tracking tool to keep everyone connected, alerting the group if someone falls behind and giving each rider the peace of mind that they’ll always find their way back to the pack.

Along the way, we got valuable insight from a local legend, Chris Ramsey, who connected us with the person we needed to bring our dreams to life—Sam Salfi. Sam has been working hard behind the scenes to deliver a game-changing app that we can’t wait to share.

We’re just getting started—this is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with you!
