I got a few more of those free $25 vouchers but they won't last long. Plans start at $19 a month so you can apply the free voucher and get a month of service for free with no obligation to continue, just don't add payment after this first month. If you choose a bigger plan you just pay the difference. It's a great way to try Koodo out at a reduced rate or even free depending on the plan you choose. Cellular network changes starting next year Koodo and all providers effected.

You may have received this message from Koodo or other providers.

They are sending it out to everyone, not only people affected. Check with your provider to ensure your phone supports 4G volte service, most 4G phones support this, 3G service has already been discontinued.

As Koodo is on the Telus network you can check your phones IMEI at this Telus link.

Click compatibility check, enter your phones IMEI number. (Dial * #06 # to display)

Look at second line where it says will work on partner networks as some phones may not work for roaming.

Also for some reason Public mobile has their own compatibility which is different from Telus. Despite being a Telus company some phones that work on Telus and Koodo will not work on Public starting March of next year and already will not support roaming outside Canada.
