Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are two of the highest data-collecting browsers available. Beyond browsing history, they can gather location data, payment details, saved files, device identifiers, and more. Some of that information can be passed to third parties.

That's not a reason to panic or switch tools overnight. Both browsers are popular for good reasons.

But it is a reason to be more deliberate.

Your browsing history isn't just a list of websites. Over time it reveals business interests, financial behaviour, health concerns, legal activity. It's a profile and profiles have value to the wrong people.

Three things worth doing this week:

✅ Switch to a dedicated password manager so your browser isn't holding your keys
✅ Be selective about staying permanently logged into your browser account
