Community Engagement Sessions: Youth & Family Services Building

Eskasoni First Nation is exploring the development of a new Youth & Family Services Building to support the programs and services of Nepisulti’kul. As part of this work, Trifos Design Consultants has been hired to complete a feasibility study and help determine what this space could look like and what it may include.

On June 15 & 16, 2026 Trifos Design will be in community at the Sarah Denny Memorial Cultural Centre to listen and learn. We want to hear your ideas, priorities, and vision for a new Nepisulti’kul building.

This project is led by Eskasoni, and community input is an important part of shaping what comes next. Join us at one of the engagement sessions and help us create a space that reflects the needs of our children, youth, families, and community.

Refreshments and door prizes will be provided. We hope to see you there! 🧡

We are extremely thrilled to share that last week, Eskasoni First Nation officially signed a joint venture agreement with Brela Homes as part of ongoing efforts to help address housing needs in the community and beyond.

This is an exciting step for Eskasoni, as we look at housing contracts in the region. The strategy will not only help with building homes quicker and more efficiently, but also in creating opportunities for community members through training, jobs, and future project work.

The partnership is focused on building capacity within the community and making sure Eskasoni is part of the conversations, opportunities, and contracts that shape development moving forward.

We’re looking forward to what comes next and what this can mean for the future of housing and economic development in Eskasoni.
