Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! As we mark this celebratory day which recognizes the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, it is important we acknowledge our own infancy in fully understanding and engaging in a meaningful way with the Indigenous people where we live and work. ✋ We stand against bullying in all its forms 🚫

Celebrated every year on the last Wednesday of February, is a chance for us as a society to decry the immense hurt and harm bullying causes. The suffering and damage this unacceptable and destructive behaviour inflicts can leave lasting emotional and physical scars, some of which never heal. Whether at work, school, or home, maltreatment must always be denounced. For it is in speaking up, and calling out that which is wrong, where we begin to make meaningful change.

Today is an opportunity to come together and encourage one another to be inclusive, welcoming, and supportive. We are proud of our employees for embracing this day, and for their unequivocal opposition against bullying.
