The premise is simple and the direction is obvious, what can we really hope to learn from the past if we remove the things we don't agree with, downplaying the fact that if those story's and lessons are removed we will be doomed to repeat them again. Its Lungbuttur day!! There will be 3 posts for everyone starting with first and foremost the official release of our 5th album "EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE" with 18 songs and 2 featured artists. First I would like to thank everyone involved in the release of this album if it wasn't for the fans, LISTENERS and collaborators this would not exist.
3 decades from the beginning of a little garage band that started as 3 kids jamming out the name Lungbuttur was created when we passed a fat doobie around the room and I hacked my brains out while singing leading to someone yelling out "LUNGBUTTER".
Later I refined the name to be spelt out Lungbuttur with a UR instead of a ER to represent the 3 founding members as U, U and U in the name.
Creating a brand new word and spelling of it. My father later told me that the word spelt as it was ment forever welcome. There was no truth to that but we incorporated the meaning of it and it became the truth.
Now with 11 members throughout our history and 10 current members we have fully dawned the collective nature of many artists from around the world.
Bringing there unique perspective of music to one stage and keeping in contact with all past and present members reminding them that they are always a part of the Lungbuttur collective even if there not directly involved.
We are preparing our live shows to match the amazing sounds we have created together and we can't wait to bring our tour out to the road.
Like the times of old that can only happen with your support. If a song strikes you personally and brings you to a place of joy or helps you out of a place of misery then bring your friends there. Don't hide this amazing music from your ears. Listen objectively as the lyrics and patters have so much meaning in so many different ways.

It's been a bit and I hope everyone is doing well. Many things in the works and opportunities that are presenting themselves. With our 5th album being released on may 1st 2024. The title of the album is "Everything for Everyone" and will feature 18 songs written by Camile Dominique Houle , Luke Baird , Cousin Ray and Mechanic A.

We are a collective of artists from around the world and we will be bringing our music to the live stage starting in Edmonton Alberta where it all began back in 1996.

We bring you an extremely unique 90's sounding style of music that can't be put in any particular club or category so it fits into many molds. We identify as Grunge, New grunge, Metal, alternative, acoustic etc... if it sounds good we are into it and for that reason we are releasing this album with no limitations.

Categorize our music as you see fit, the music was made to relate to you deeply and be absorbed into your consciousness. The songs are to get to know us but they are also there to help you get to know you.

All of our songs our interpretive and made for you to interpret in your own way.

How big is your EGO? mine can be total s #$t sometimes and it can be hard to see what's in front of me, maybe you can. It's really hard to tell how someone really is with all the postings and comments being unable to truly translate the emotion behind a response.
It can be easier to just say nothing at all so that you don't come off as arrogant, egotistical, maniacal. No one want's to be in the playground all by themselves but with all of my broken bones and slivers I have become qualified to hear about your personal disasters let's not let our ego's get in the way. A woman trapped in grief over the death of a friend, ran as fast as she could and got lost in the woods while contemplating her existence. A figure appears in the darkness to offer assistance that she at first is reluctant to receive.
