Week 5 (May 10 - 16) recap: $0 made, 1 client lost, but 100% leveled up. 📈

Not every week in business is a highlight reel. Balancing a full-time job while trying to get a real estate media business off the ground is tough, and losing a client because of my 9-to-5 schedule definitely hurt. But a slow week doesn’t mean a lazy week!

Got my website updated with new MLS, RMS, and Video packages, and spent hours mastering the iGuide. We are laying the foundation so that when the time comes to go full-time, we are ready. 🚀

Last week, our Edmonton team hosted members of the Decorating & Interior Design Association of Alberta (DIDAA) for a presentation on the Nature of Wood in Cabinetry, followed by a showroom tour. Thank you to the members for attending, the association for the opportunity, and the volunteers who made it possible.

Week 2, 3, and 4 of building my business as an entrepreneur in Edmonton 🇨🇦

The past few weeks have been insane…

In just 3 weeks:
✅ Shot 5 client projects
✅ Upgraded my real estate media services with iGUIDE RMS
✅ Started offering listing photos + RMS + video packages
✅ Continued developing my realtor app/tool called RELDEAL
✅ Got called LAST MINUTE to shoot a huge Filipino concert at the Expo Centre

Crazy part?
I’ve never shot a concert before… and I didn’t even have the perfect gear for it.

But sometimes in business, you just say YES and figure it out later.

I’m not just a videographer for realtors.
