🔧 Is your computer running hot, loud, or shutting down randomly?

This is what dried-out thermal paste looks like — it stops moving heat off your CPU and everything starts cooking. Fresh paste and a cleanup, and this one's running cool and quiet again.

If your PC sounds like it's about to take off, bring it by. Free quotes, as always.

With GTA VI just around the corner, this customer bought a used PS5 Slim with a very wobbly fan.

Replaced and working perfectly again!

Is your system prepped for GTA VI?

Give us a holler if it’s not!

This iMac A1418 (Retina 4K, 2017) model came into the shop refusing to boot at all due to a failing mechanical hard drive. We got it cracked open cleanly, upgraded it from a 1TB to a blazing-fast 2TB Solid State Drive, migrated all the user data and settings over seamlessly, and buttoned it back up looking and running like new.

If your old Mac is dragging its feet, freezing up, or refusing to start, a modern SSD upgrade is one of the most cost-effective ways to bring it back to peak performance without buying a whole new system. After all, we put the "Mac" in MacDroid Technologies!

Serving Elgin County, Middlesex County, and Chatham-Kent. Drop us a message if your tech needs a speed boost and more space!

Special thanks to Ross Towing in London, ON for giving us this opportunity to decipher and figure out why the range on this remote was reduced/intermittent ranged.

Tow Truck drivers will always have a special place in my heart because I used to be one. Safety is always a first priority when it comes to towing and this remote increased the safety priority. They use these remotes to move either the boom or the winch line, which helps eliminate a lot of back and forth movement with the operator on the side of the road.

Hello everyone!

For those of you that have been pushing MacDroid Technologies through word of mouth, tagging the business and also just being super supportive, I want to say THANK YOU!!!!

Never would I have ever thought I’d be doing something I love on my own time!

Now, I have a confession. I feel like it seems we are not answering our Facebook messages fast enough. This is because Facebook for Business is the worst platform to be able to reply sometimes because it seems to crash most of the time.

Please visit the website, book a repair, or even just give us a call!

Now that we got that out of the way, we had to make a few more changes to the website to make it a little bit easier for future and existing customers to book an appointment. Plus, it’s easier on the pocket to be able to do it this way!

88 Google Reviews. All 5 Star. We may not be the cheapest, but we are the best currently in Elgin County!

Appreciate all of you! Thank you! :)
