Hens are the ambassadors of country living design and here they are as little appliqued motifs with faux quilt stitching.

Appliqued Stitched Checkerboard Hens is my entry into the current Spoonflower Design Challenge. Of course I had to design a couple of new patterns, plus recolour a few of my favourite companion prints to make this Country Kitchen inspire collection. Cute, kitcheny and countrified!

If I hadn't already introduced you to my Backyard Garden- Springtime Florals collection, which is perfect for your new nursery- well let me remedy that!

For this week's Spoonflower Design Challenge, here is "Moonglow Fantasy Tapestry-Woodland Garden". I created this fantastical garden scene using furry animal motifs and leafy vector brushes — all drawn with my mouse in illustrator..(my arm hurts! I wonder why? ha ha!)

I was trying to channel my inner 70's rockstar when I designed this bright paisley floral. I think "Stevie-Gold and Rubies-Boho Jewel Edition Paisley" is a pretty close representation of the Boho Rockstar image I was aiming for. This colourway features my Infrared Glaze and Miami Marmalade from my Bright Bohemian Colour Story. If you check out my Spoonflower shop there will be a few other Jewel toned colourways available as well. Happy sewing!
