So some time ago I posted on here that although windows update may tell you that your computer is not compatible with windows 11, it may well be but in many cases the TPM that microsoft requires for the upgrade to windows 11 is turned off in your bios, sadly this week alone I have worked on data transfer of two computers from old to new, the customers had purchased new computers just for the windows 11, after admitting their old machines worked perfect but they felt they needed a supported operating system, and then I find that their old computers were in fact eligible for the upgrade to windows 11 after I enabled the TPM in the bios and there was no need for the extra expenses on a new computer, and unfortunately both were purchased out of the country. Furthermore microsoft requires TPM 2.0 stating that TPM 1.2 is not enough but I have found a workaround for that, I believe it’s just another big money grab from rich corporations who don’t care how bad the economy is for people already struggling financially, and lets be honest so many rely on their computers these days for many reasons, I have completed so many upgrades to windows 11 that were not apparently compatible saving the cost and the hassle of purchasing a new computer. Think before you buy.
