To continue on with are celebration of Cyber Security and Safety month here is tip # 4:
Did you know that 1 in 131 emails is a malicious email. That may seem like a lot but if your like me and between personal and business email that adds up quickly! Don’t click on links of emails your not 100% sure about. Always check the email address of the sender first.

Always secure your home WIFI! Lots of people think they don’t need a password for their WIFI but they couldn’t be more wrong. If you don’t have a password it is just that much easier for someone to get your data.
If you are unsure how to secure your WIFI let’s us know and we can help.

October is Cyber Safety and Security month. Here at Repair Geek we are celebrating by bringing you tips, tricks and how-to’s to keep you safe online. Tip # 2: Everyday we put our personal info online,from credit cards to passwords. When purchasing online or signing into sites like Facebook make sure you see the green secure symbol or it says https. After that if you are still not sure it’s right then it’s best to move away and double check your on the right site. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.

Well it’s October and that means it is Cyber Safety and Security month. For the month of October we will be posting tips, tricks and how-to’s to keep you safe online. Tip # 1: Passwords. Choose a password that is easy to remember but not to easy, like password, that someone can figure it out. Make sure to change your passwords regularly as well.
