The new Qapoje Park entrance sign is now officially installed!
After weeks of sandblasting the cedar, hand-painting the raised letters, and applying protective finish, this beautiful sign is finally back in place.
The park is looking great and ready to welcome visitors. So proud to see it completed. 🌲✨

Recently restored two old library signs — Vancouver Island Regional Library Courtenay Branch and Comox Branch.
Both were carefully sandblasted to restore the natural cedar texture, then the raised letters were hand-painted with fresh enamel and protected with multiple coats of exterior clear finish.
Now they are back in place, proudly welcoming visitors once again.
It feels good to preserve a piece of local history. ❤️
