Take a minute to read this excellent blog by NVT user Robert Nurisio, COVT. It’s an inspiring reminder of what makes vision therapists such a special group of professionals, and why the work we do, and the way we do it, matters so much to so many.
Happy Friday!

Vision Therapy is not a profession built for applause. There are no stadium lights, no roaring crowds, no final buzzer signaling victory. There is no highlight reel at the end of a session, no podi…

After months of trial and error, you've finally landed on the perfect combination of settings for Jumble Scan, Rotator, Random Dots, or any of NVT's 30+ interactive exercises.

Did you know you can save those custom configurations as Presets?? Just look for the Presets dropdown at top of the Exercise configuration panel, and click Create New Preset, name it, and - boom - it’s instantly available whenever you need it.
*And yes, you can still tweak those settings later for those trickier patients.

Streamline your VT programming and keep your go-to setups just a click away!

😵‍💫 When the world is spinning, at least you can control the direction 🌀 Introducing NVT's New OKN Exercise!

It spins, it scrolls, it moves in all the ways your patients don’t (yet)! NVT’s brand-new OKN exercise is a highly configurable visual stimulus tool that mimics the classic rotating drum (and then some), but without all the headaches of shipping and storage.

Configuration options include:
- Direction: Horizontal, vertical, diagonal, even clockwise & counterclockwise rotation
- Bar shape: Stripes or stripes with dots
- Virtual Field Oscillation: Add simulated movement of the visual field
- Color: Black, red, green, or blue
- Speed, spacing & contrast: Dial in just right
- User control: Let patients adjust the speed… or don’t 😉

OKN is ideal for working on visual motion sensitivity, spatial awareness, binocular fusion, and all those complex brain-body connections we rely on to keep patients steady, visually grounded abd spatially savvy. Use it in-clinic or assign it for home practice - just make sure patients demonstrate tolerance and proper use first (as detailed in our handy Protocol Guide, found right in the exercise settings screen).

Take it for a spin, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Spectacular showing at today! Scott has been swamped at the NVT booth with interested (and interesting) ODs and vision therapists, existing NVT users asking about what’s new, and, as always, fans of toys doing vision therapy (shout out to Emergent’s VT Barbie!)
