What a difference 3 years can make!

In February 2023, Gosfield North Communications welcomed Don Casemore as our General Manager — and what followed was a truly transformational chapter for our organization.

Through Don’s leadership, commitment, and dedication to our members and customers, we achieved some incredible milestones together:
✨ April 2023 – Announced our bold plan to bring Fibre to the Home to ALL customers by 2025
✨ June 2024 – ALL customers became members of our Co-operative, strengthening us into a more competitive organization
✨ November 2024 – Completed our Fibre to the Home project ahead of schedule and under budget
✨ December 2024 – Members of Gosfield North Communications Co-operative Ltd. and Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc. overwhelmingly voted in favour of amalgamation
✨ August 2025 – Faster speeds, same price! Introduced our fastest speed yet: 1.5G
✨ September 2025 – Celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new facility in Cottam: the Gosfield Communications Community Centre
✨ January 2026 – Gosfield-Quadro Communications officially formed, with Don supporting the transition and integration while welcoming our new General Manager, Chris Ladouceur

And that brings us to today — Don’s official last working day.
While we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the leadership, vision, and support Don has provided over the past three years. His impact will be felt for many years to come.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Ladouceur as General Manager of Gosfield-Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc., following the successful amalgamation of Gosfield North Communications and Quadro Communications effective January 1, 2026.
Chris’s leadership marks an important step forward as we unite two strong, community-owned organizations with a shared commitment to our members and local communities.
We’re proud of our roots and excited about what’s ahead.

🎓 Congratulations to this year’s Gosfield Bursary recipients!

Each student received a $500 award to support their post-secondary studies.

Our office will be closed Tuesday, September 30th in honour of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
