I know we all want to save money. If you are ordering electronics online, be careful. This hard drive was purchased online at one of the largest online retailers in the world. This is supposed to be a 16TB external drive that is reportedly brand new. It turns out to be a SCAM. This drive is in fact an 8TB drive whose warranty expired at the end of 2020 - making this drive at least 7 years old. Be aware!
