This iPhone 14 came in with shattered back glass from a hard impact. But the real danger wasn't the glass — it was what happened underneath.
The impact actually hit the battery. When we opened it up, the battery wasn't just swollen — it had split open, and we could smell the lithium the moment we got inside. A swollen or split lithium-ion battery is a genuine fire risk, not something to ride around with. If your back glass is badly shattered, please don't ignore it.
When we rebuild a phone like this, we ONLY use original Apple housing and back glass. Here's why that matters:
✅ Original Apple: exact OEM fit and seal, restored water resistance, properly aligned MagSafe magnets, true color and finish match, and it holds its resale value.
❌ Aftermarket: loose or imperfect fit, lost water resistance, weak or missing magnets, off-color cheap finish, wireless charging issues, and it hurts resale value.

iPad 10th Gen came in with ZERO touch response. 🚫👆 Most shops would just throw a new screen at it — but what do you do when a new screen DOESN’T fix it?

We pulled out the thermal camera + DC power supply and tracked down the real culprit: ONE microscopic shorted capacitor. Look how tiny it is next to a quarter. 🪙🤯

We removed the faulty cap and just like that — touch is fully restored. No new logic board, no new iPad. This is why board-level microsoldering matters.
