A new strain of android malware has been found to have infected nearly 5 million smartphones from manufacturers Honor, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Samsung and GIONEE. The malware was installed somewhere along the supply chain for these companies, according to The Hacker News, which means many phones were pre-loaded with the malware.
