How many valid email domains don't end in ".com"? According to LinkedIn verification partner CLEAR, not very many. Like many other arrogantly shallow US-based services, they don't accept ".ca" Canadian domain names as being valid for email addresses when you try to register with them.

In an international world where the internet and social media are supposed to be opening things up, this kind of narrow-mindedness, which likely arises from unidimensional technologists making universal decisions, is so tragically inhuman.

Yet another freedom we can't take for granted and have to constantly push for in the face of clueless, condescending nano-authoritarians.
