Fiddled around to make hass.io VM (Home Assistant) to work on my Rocky Linux 8.5 KVM server: You need the infamous UEFI add-on... So:

dnf install dnf-plugins-core
dnf config-manager --add-repo https://www.kraxel.org/repos/firmware.repo
dnf install edk2.git-ovmf-x64

When configuring the new VM (import the hassio qcow2 image), choose:

Chipset: Q35
Firmware: UEFI x86_64: /usr/share/edk2.git/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd

Other than that, i know i'll have to fight a bit the config of zwave.js plugin, the documentation is awfully unclear (i have the not so good Stelpro Ki STZW402+).

J'avais mis à mon agenda un séminaire "Rancher Rodeo: Hands-on Kubernetes Workshop" hosté par Suse Linux. Vient le temps de connecter, incapable: mon Ubuntu 20.04LTS / Firefox 93 / Chromium 95 ne sont pas supportés! On voit que Suse est vraiment sérieux avec Linux... Tsé quand tu signes un pact du diable avec Micro$sloth en 2006... Alors j'ai flushé le meeting.

Dernière constatation sur le comportement de Windows 10 avec les requêtes DNS: Bypass le DNS local et se sert de DNS à l'externe... L'accès au serveur WEB de l'intranet ne fonctionnait pas bien à cause de ça. Bravo Microsoft, probablement encore un autre truc pour traquer les pauvres usagers de Windows 10...

J'ai simplement mis une règle dans le firewall pour ne pas laisser passer les requêtes DNS vers l'externe.

Last observation on the behavior of Windows 10 with DNS requests: Bypass the local DNS and uses DNS externally ... Access to the intranet WEB server did not work well because of this. Well done Microsoft, probably yet another trick to track down poor Windows 10 users ...

I simply put a rule in the firewall so as not to let DNS queries go to the outside.

Vous pouvez donc utiliser baseboxd directement sur la switch ou par la suite, envoyer le contrôle du dataplane à un contrôlleur SDN comme Ryu.

Nouveaux Laptop Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL: Ne perdez pas votre temps à essayer d'enlever tout le bloatware de Lenovo, après avoir fini de tout enlever à partir de "Paramètres/Applications", il reste du stuff Lenovo qui vous envoie des "popups" de temps en temps...

Donc, je suis en train de télécharger le dernier Windows 10 et je vais donc ré-installer, ce sera vraiment moins long que je courir à débusquer tout ce qu'ils ont pu cacher un peu partout... SHAME ON YOU LENOVO...

New Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL: Don't waste your time trying to remove all the Lenovo Bloatware... After removing all i could from settings/apps, there is still crap hidden somewhere that send popups to try to make you install / use Lenovo crapware...

So i'm just downloading a fresh copy of Windows 10 en re-install from scratch, it will be a lot less time compared to chase their s**t all over Windows... SHAME ON YOU LENOVO...
