Hey there, amazing people! 👋 It's Faith Jackson, the proud founder of Phoenix Designs & Apparel, and I'm thrilled to share my unique journey with you. 🌟

In 2020, amidst the uncertainty and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I embarked on an incredible adventure. That year marked the beginning of Phoenix Designs & Apparel, a testament to my resilience and determination. 💪

Before diving into entrepreneurship, I honed my skills and passion in the industry for over a decade. From my first job at a local sign shop at the age of 19, I immersed myself in the world of design, merchandising, and branding. Through hard work and dedication, I transformed my role from occasional assistance to becoming an integral part of the team. It was a journey that taught me the value of perseverance and the power of pursuing my dreams. 💼🌟

Now, as the heart and soul behind Phoenix Designs & Apparel, I embrace the challenge of being a one-person shop, where I wear all the hats. From design concepts and customer interactions to production and fulfillment, I take pride in personally overseeing every aspect of the process. 👩‍💼💻🎨

We are excited to announce we are moving into a bigger location as of April 1st, 2022!

The new location is located at 270 Columbia Ave Castlegar, BC
(It's downtown Castlegar, in between the old woods nightclub building and the legion) literally down the street from where we are now.

As you could tell by our last post it was getting a bit cramped so it was time to expand into something bigger! We are sad to leave this location we've called home for the past year, however, it will be nice to have room and not trip over everything! Haha

We are working on getting out any orders that are due before we move but please be patient with us during our transition. As we will be having some delays while we set up in the new location.

Today's are 1 year anniversary of us moving into our first office!

In a year lots have changed. Our business has been growing at a fast pace with the support of the community and our customers. In the first 6months, we outgrew our small office and expanded into a second room in the building. Not shortly after that, we had to rearrange our 2 offices to fit a large format print.
A bigger printer means a bigger laminate. Lol, it's now a tight workspace but we can make it work till the next time we expand which may be sooner than you think ;)

It's amazing to see how far we've come in such a short time and we can't wait to see what the next year will bring!

We want to thank all of our great customers for being so patient and understanding with us for the past few months. We've been dealing with quite a few unforeseen delays,  hurdles and setbacks these past 6 months. 

Last Sept we lost a key member of our family and a mentor of mine as he's one of the reason I've personally been working in the sign and apparel industry for over 10 years. He was the person I went to for advice and help on jobs, so we had to do some adjustments in our personal lives and business since his passing.

Like most businesses, we have had our fair share of setbacks between equipment failures, getting new equipment, expanding and getting colds and flu going  around town, but with all that, we kept pushing on forward. We feel that we are finally back on track and we couldn't have done it without all of  you.

We plan on posting more often about what we have been doing these past few months! We also have exciting things and news coming up, so stay tuned.

We are celebrating our one year in business today. We have come along way this past year.
We want to thank you all for the love, support, business this year. With out you we wouldn't be where we are today!

After months of planning, expanding and setbacks we finally have all of our signs and decals installed! Its a great feeling to get a big project finally done and now we can focus on other things.
