New in my portfolio: The Fort Learning Community in Courtenay!

I worked with founder Brooke Young to build a welcoming website for her community learning centre supporting neurodivergent children and their caregivers. The website brings together program information, registration intake, program booking, online payments, and a Community Access Fund where contributions help make programs more affordable for families.

Not every business needs a huge website right out of the gate.

For this project, the goal was to get something clean, professional, and credible online fast without dragging the whole thing out or overbuilding it in phase one. We kept the launch light, focused on the important stuff first, and made sure the site had a solid foundation to grow on later.

That kind of approach usually makes a lot of sense. It gets the business online sooner, keeps the upfront cost more reasonable, and avoids wasting time on extras that can be added once the business is ready for them. Better to launch something strong and useful now, then build it out as needed.
