Here at Red Cherry we created a number of App's, communitys and websites to help our environment and better our world. Over the last 5 years we have been working with the Okanagan Forest Task Force in helping create a social presense, new website, software, mapping tools and more. With the latest website just launched it allow people to report illegal dumping and drop a pin on a map to show excatly where the location is. It also allows for multiple photo/video uploads.

Creating blog content not only shows you’re an expert in your field but can also be used as a key function in your SEO campaign. The main reason is each time you create a blog post your creating a new page that contains title tags, meta tags, and content that now can be targeted for specific keywords. This new unique page now has the ability to attract new traffic from the search engines and has a big advantage rather than keyword stuffing two or more keywords per page. When you create the page try working in a way that describes how your customer might approach you. Don’t worry about getting the exact keyword work on long term phrases that are about 3-4 keywords in length. These will rank high in the SERP and be more specific to what your customer is looking for. Two Simple Security Concepts with Ajax/PHP

We wanted to review a couple of very basic security concepts when building a user management system as an example. First, this user will have a photo and other identification this is sensitive information so we want to take the best measures for security hardening. That photo will reside in a folder and this folder name should be encrypted safe url string. Much like a dropbox link with all the jumbled numbers/letters. Our hash is ready the random string of characters for our folder name. Wow, that's just for the folder name dude? You must imagine every aspect that is visible in your application only opens you up to more vulnerabilities and your job as a developer is to minimize those vulnerabilities. So if your folder names are like 15,16,17 people can guess the next folder and potentially guess a file name... you should never be able to guess a folder name.

The new iPhone X with Face ID seems to scare the crap out of me. How much data "they" are gathering on the population now right down to your fingerprint, face and voice what kind of consequences if any will this spell in the future? It's coming across in such safe manner too. Easier to unlock your phone, easier to pay, better security oh and yeah now we know your face and any machine does now as well. Remember the days when cell phones came out and people were so worried about privacy with location? Now people share their real-time locations across multiple apps what was icky has now become accepted as normal. What will really happen to you except your life becomes better? It' already happening but somehow the Face ID for me is the future. I'm curious how people feel about privacy or if you care? Do you want a powerful AI knowing your face of family and friends and your patterns? Perhaps you might be part of the rebellion in the future with John Connor ( terminator) so don't ever scan your face!
