From the Stampede Parade to the museum floor... Betsey has officially arrived at A Road Well Travelled.

This charming 1927 Chevrolet tow truck has quite the story to tell. Back when cars were still a novelty, tow trucks were too! Like many of the first tow trucks on the road, Betsey was cleverly cobbled together from a mix of truck parts to help motorists when they needed it most.

Lovingly restored by Strong’s Garage in Bruderheim, Alberta, Betsey now takes her place in AMA’s centennial exhibition, where visitors can get up close with a remarkable piece of Alberta’s roadside history.

Be sure to stop by Gasoline Alley Museum this summer and say hello to one of the exhibit’s most iconic arrivals.
