So sad to see local restaurants suffering during this pandemic. On top of the lack of customers, the fact that the Delivery Apps like Skip, Door Dash, Uber etc, are holding these small businesses hostage. They are charging horrendous fees for their service. Many of these restaurant owners are working hard to keep open and sometimes for no profit after these Delivery apps take all their profit. They should be trying to help them in time of need. They should be reducing their rates to keep these small businesses working. Many of these small restaurants will be forced to close for good before this pandemic is over. They are only staying open to support their customers, but because they are not generating enough revenue they will be forced out of business. We should be supporting these small business directly by phoning in orders or using their company website to order so they can make some money instead of giving it all to Skip, Door Dash etc. I am not in the restaurant business, but i deal with restaurants, so I see what they are going through. Please try to support them direct.
